How do I create my first lighting project?
Navigate to the Dashboard and click '+ New Project'. Fill in your project details including name, type, location, and client information. Alya will guide you through the setup process.
What file formats does Alya support for imports?
Alya supports DWG, DXF, PDF, and image files (JPG, PNG) for floor plan imports. For IES files, we support standard photometric data formats from major manufacturers.
How do I generate a Bill of Quantities?
In your project, go to 'Generate BOQ'. Alya will compile all fixtures, quantities, and specifications into a comprehensive document ready for procurement.
What export formats are available for reports?
Reports can be exported as PDF, Excel (XLSX), or CSV. Presentation decks are available in PDF and PowerPoint formats.
What is AVE-Lite and how does it work?
AVE-Lite is our real-time lighting visualization tool. It renders beam patterns based on your fixture selections, showing accurate light distribution with adjustable parameters like beam angle, CCT, and intensity.
Which automation protocols does Alya support?
Alya supports DALI, KNX, Casambi, and Lutron protocols. Scene configurations can be exported in formats compatible with each system.
